Shitters! I wasn’t planning on being back in your inboxes so soon, but it wouldn’t be right to let a Shopbop surprise sale pass without acknowledgement, now would it?! Last weekend’s rec was decidedly summery, so this time around I wanted to give you all a little something for fall! A week or so ago I was taking a long walk on the Brooklyn waterfront when a woman flagged me down (despite my sunglasses and Airpods) to ask about my shirt. It was the first day I could even consider wearing a long sleeve since spring and I had grabbed my favorite one to wear with leggings because despite having a massive shopping problem, this and/or sweatpants are still my daily uniform of choice (I’m working on it).
Was about to comment “why spend $175 on a sweatshirt” but then I remembered I still have and regularly wear all the $100+ Free City sweats I bought as a high school sophomore to fit in with the cool girls... this sale may entice me to get more!!
i accidentally bought that the great sweatshirt at a thrift store a few years ago and it truly is one of the best pieces in my closet!
