I say this every month, but HOW is it September?!?!!!! The end of summer is always bittersweet, but after a very sleepy July, summer hit its peak for me last month! My August was jam-packed with travel (including to Rehoboth Beach, where I’m ready to join the Board of Tourism—it is my new favorite place) and time with family and friends plus thrillers, ice cream, beach days, pickleball—all the quintessential things that make summer worth looking forward to.

I know, I know—there’s still a lot to love about the fall, especially in New York, and there are a couple things on my eye this time around that I imagine will be in the regular rotation once the temps drop. But for the time being, I’m savoring the last of the summer sun and taking advantage of LDW sales to place a few orders here and there!

In addition to the insane Violet Grey sale, there are a few others worth perusing. I restocked my staple moisturizer for 25% off, grabbed a simple beach hat at Madewell for an extra 40% off, and picked up a rustic serving tray for 20% off from one of my favorite spots for interior inspo—here’s to more hosting in the fall! Goop is also running an incredible beauty/body sale—their body oil and lip balm sets make for fabulous gifts for friends or for yourself, and are both 25% off.

Read on for staple sweaters, cozy fall jackets, my new favorite workout top, and a couple burning questions about your kitchen’s crown jewel…
