Shitters!!! Whenever I’ve been out of your inboxes for more than a week, I feel like we have SO much to catch up on!! November is technically my busy season (as evidenced by how often I was in your inboxes!!), but I had so much fun putting together this year’s gift guides and sale roundups—I hope you all got your hands on something you’re excited about!

A few late Nov/early Dec highlights: Marinating in my sauna blanket (my new happy place), the relatively mild Nov temps (NOT the case anymore!!! Does anyone else get random hives from the cold?), lazy/snowy days at home post-Thanksgiving, a very fun trip to Framebridge that I had been putting off for months (had to frame these bookmarks for my little library!), a cozy holiday party at home (this French 75 Punch was a hit!), and a beyond gorgeous dinner with Violet Grey and Mutha last night!

I’m hoping that this month will be more of a wind down in comparison (though the holiday party circuit is certainly in full swing this week!!). Whether you’re entertaining or spending a night in, this Apple Cider Bourbon Sour is one of my favorite drinks this time of year—as promised, here’s the recipe:

Instead of the usual On My Eye letter, this month I want to share the “best of” from this series over the past year. We’ve had some fun finds, and I love having this space to get a little more in depth/talk with you all about the things on my mind/eye! But before we get into it, some November standouts:

Shit I Loved in November: There was a candle lit by the time the sun went down (4:45pm??) pretty much every night I spent at home. I polished off two all-time greats by Ranger Station and Le Prunier—both are perfect for this time of year, and never kick up my allergies. Once all the heaters turned on, I got reacquainted with Sofie Pavitt’s Rich Cream—SO hydrating, completely non-comedogenic, and a fraction of the price of my OG favorite. I know it seems like you need crazy amounts of free time to be a bath person, but it’s really as simple as moving one of your nightly couch/bed rots to the tub. I switch off between this bath oil and these magnesium salts—both smell heavenly. I can’t believe I had never tried this blush shade before—it’s really as good as everyone says (especially for a winter flush)! And I wore my beloved Mango knit set to death the minute temps started to drop (to compliments every single time!).

And I can’t let you go without sharing this exquisite shearling coat by Nour Hammour! I was on the fence about ordering, but my curiosity (and the 30% off sale!) got me, and I’m so glad it did! The shearling is SO soft and warm (not all shearling is created equal!), and it instantly makes me feel glamorous and put together, even on top of PJs. It reverses to a gorgeous suede, and I know I’m going to get sooooo much use out of it for years to come! It comes with a hook to close it towards the top, but I’m taking a page from Melanie Masarin (who I saw in the brown version recently!) and getting a couple extra ones added for those extra chilly nights. I’m in the XS!

Read on for more recent finds I’m excited about and the Best Of On My Eye in 2025!
