Shitters. First things first, I have an update for our Tortured Sleepers—I found the cure for insomnia and it’s Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show. I’m not a Meghan hater (at all actually!), but I was dozing off by 8:45, which NEVER happens. Put that in your back pocket for the next time sleep is evading you!
Outside of this discovery, between the barrage of horrible headlines and the most fleeting of fake springs, my March is starting out pretty meh. You know what that means—time to get on a plane!!! I feel that the timing of my friend Morgan’s bachelorette party this weekend is divine intervention—God knew I needed to feel the sun on my skin and one and a half mojitos in my bloodstream!
I’ve gotten pretty good at paring down my toiletries to the MVPs for quick trips like this, especially when they’re somewhere sunny, where heavy duty retinols don’t make much sense. Here’s what’s on my shortlist, most of which is currently on sale via Dermstore or Revolve (most of their site is 20% off for today only—they have a great selection of beauty + SIBAL favorites like Hunza G, this workout onesie, and this new-to-me brow gel that I can’t get enough of lately).

We all know I love this cleanser by now, but the real highlight of my routine is the Nutrient Face Serum. It is BY FAR my biggest skincare indulgence, but I just can’t quit it (or go a weekend without). I’ve never been happier with how my skin looks (evenness, glowiness, pigmentation, texture—all of it), and I chalk it up to a combination of this vitamin C and my red light mask* (which is actually very portable, but even I know where to draw the line for a weekend trip!). This peptide/ hyaluronic combo is great for hydration—when I know I’m going to be in the sun, I tend to skip exfoliants in favor of things that are easy and soothing. And of course, SPF—this one is by far my favorite of any I’ve tried. That’s usually where I stop, but if I need some extra hydration or skin prep before makeup, I’ll use some of the Rhode too (more on this below). *Code is PRIYANKACB

Some repeats here (call me an efficient packer??? It would be a first…). This cleansing balm is an indulgence, but I love the feel and the slight olive scent, and it removes makeup SO well. I initially worried it might break me out, but I’ve been using it for almost a year with no issues. I follow up with my usual for a double cleanse, re-up on the peptides post-sun, and top it all off with my favorite budget-friendly moisturizer + eye cream (at home I’m usually an Extreme Cream girl, but I prefer Rhode’s retinol-free formula when I’m in the sun—I continue to be so impressed by how nice it feels on!). As someone who gets dark circles, I love a brightening eye cream (this bottle is clearly well-loved!)—it also comes in a bundle with the Extreme Cream that lets you save on both.

Pretty much every time I travel, I put this inexpensive sheet mask on the first night while I sleep. It makes my skin look plump/hydrated/happy, especially after a long travel day, and I get to start the first full day of vacation with my best face forward! I save these eye masks for occasions where I know there will be photos (the rose gold ones are my go-to, but check out their sampler set if you want to try all of the options). Four minutes with the ZIIP is enough to carve out cheekbones, regardless of how much alcohol or sodium you may have consumed the night before. And the Fatty stick is my solution to traveling without a full-size body moisturizer if you’re in an Airbnb or on the go. An assortment of electrolyte powders, Liquigels, and in-case-of-emergency drugs (hello Loperamide, my old friend) will also be making the trip, but they felt less necessary to photograph.
Between my post-Black Friday spending embargo and my travels the last few months, my shopping habit has taken a bit of a backseat lately, but I have a feeling that’s about to change… I have the closet bug, the furniture bug—every fucking bug under the sun. Someone get me a Zpack, stat!!!!! From springy dresses to faux fur (I know we’re late in the season, but this one is GOOD) to ~sexy~ sweaters to the single most perfect evening clutch I have ever laid eyes on, what follows are the best of the 85 million things that are in my cart/heart this month (along with a home decor poll that I desperately need you to weigh in on):
