Shitters! Before we get into it, I have two PSAs: 1) It’s Election Day! If you’re in California, vote YES on Prop 50, and if you’re in NYC, let’s make a little history with Zohran! And 2) The Sephora sale is officially open to all today! ICYMI, here are my best recs:

October was a whirlwind of a month!!! I feel like I could post five photo dumps and still not do it justice, which is weird because I was sick for at least half of it?? Here are a few highlights:

I have plenty of October favorites for you too, but first I want to share a new project that I’ve been working on: Future Back Drinking, a podcast by TIME and PepsiCo.
The show features interviews with CEOs and industry leaders (maybe even yours?!) about the innovations pushing their industries into the future, and their outlook on everything to come. It’s hosted by Dr. Athina Kanioura, the wildly impressive Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at PepsiCo, and co-hosted by (drumroll please…) yours truly!!!
I couldn’t be more excited to be back on a mic and part of this show! Talking to people about their work and how they’ve found their way in the world is my favorite thing to do, and to get to do it with Athina, TIME’s team, and the caliber of guests we have is really incredible. Our first episode is out today, featuring TIME’s CEO Jessica Sibley. She’s transformed the brand’s business, and I loved getting to ask her about AI’s place in media, and how she would speak to people who are afraid that the advances executives embrace could come at the expense of their livelihoods.
Whether or not this is your usual kind of content, I think there are things for everyone in these episodes straight from the leaders who are charting our course into the future. And candidly, I’ve found myself pleasantly surprised by so many of the things they’ve had to say! If you’re intrigued, I’d love for you to check it out!
Thank you for indulging me on that! Now back to business!
Shit I Loved in October: I spent most of the month under the weather, so I was allll about anything cozy. Starting with this insanely soft (silk-lined) cashmere puffer—it feels like a cloud and I am SO happy every time I put it on (it also matches my little Miu Miu flats!!!). My bed was already my happy place, but this blanket took it to a new level—it was in the dryer last night and I was not nearly as cozy without it. I’ve been living in this OG Mango sweater + pants set at home (currently 30% off) + under $100 cotton knits. This chunky rainbow silk/cashmere knit was my answer to dopamine dressing (their suede is also insane right now—men’s too!). Add to me to the LONG list of people raving about this gentle toner for even skin (PRIYANKA10). And I forgot that at-home beauty services were a thing, but I cannot shut up about Glamsquad. There’s nothing better than watching TV on your couch while getting a mani/pedi before a night out (SIBAL gets you $25 off your first service!).
In other feel-good developments, I’ve decided to get in the holiday spirit aggressively early this year! I’ve never actually decorated my NYC apartment seasonally before, mostly because I’ve never actually been in it for Thanksgiving or Christmas, BUT I decided it would be a fun thing to get into this year (along with throwing a PARTY, of course!!!). I found some inspo for my tree that feels doable to put up/eventually store in a small space:

Will share my Apple Cider Bourbon Sour recipe (a crowd pleaser + a must for any holiday gatherings!) in an upcoming letter!
Below the fold: My Black Friday strategy/shopping list (so far!), the fruits of my obsessive hunt for sporty chic sunglasses, the pinky ring at the top of my Christmas list, and a temp check on what we do with nice gifts from former flames (I spotted an unnamed person wearing diamonds from an ex to their wedding to someone else, and now I need everyone I know to weigh in…).
