Shitters! First things first—a few good sales are on the radar today:

  1. Shopbop’s Beauty Sale (20% off). I know there have been lots of beauty sales lately, but don’t skip Shopbop’s—they stock all the good stuff that usually never gets discounted, including Furtuna’s cleansing balm (my favorite oil cleanser of all time—I love the way it makes my skin feel), Retrouvé’s super luxurious Vitamin C serum (if you’re able to splurge, their products are INSANE and worth every penny), and one of my favorite (under $50) treats to send a girlfriend. Trudon candles even made the cut?!?! RUN.

  2. Doen’s Mother’s Day Sale: I live for a Doen end-of-season sale. This one includes some real gems, like their classic maxi dress silhouette in crisp cotton, a fitted dress I’ve had my eye on for ages now (must I?!), the comfy chic cotton pants from our new mom gift guide, and plenty of dainty wool/ cashmere.

Told you I’d always keep you posted on the important things! Now back to our regularly scheduled programming:

Last month flew by in a flurry of newsletters—I loved being in your inboxes so often (and am genuinely so proud of the aforementioned gift guide—it’s one of my favorite letters we’ve ever done!)! Aside from writing to you, I spent the month crossing a few more spots off of my NYC dining hitlist (more on this to come), making progress on a new project (LOTS more to come!), and going to so many more events than usual. With the season change, it feels like my world has been defrosting too, and I’m leaning into it!

Getting ready for last night’s event by Erika Veurink and Alex Mill: Sweater is a SIBAL classic/ tee is perfect for layering/ belt was a good TRR find / jeans—obsessed with this color lately/ shoes are my old faithful Louboutins—these are what I’d buy now

My initial instinct isn’t always enthusiasm—it’s nerve-wracking to be in a new room where you’re not sure if you’ll know anyone, or if everyone else will already know each other/ be friends/ not care to make new ones!!! But I’ve been proved wrong so many times now that it feels worth repeating, especially for everyone who (like me) is nice and safe in their comfort zones—do more things that push you out of it sometimes! It’s good for the soul!

Other favorites from April, old and new: I can’t say I’m a Gabby Bernstein stan, but I did learn a lot about the Internal Family Systems model of therapy/how to apply it from her latest book. You all loved this subtle fragrance! This one is my personal favorite from the line, but I have some of their home products heading my way too—will report back! I can’t get enough of this overnight retinol hand treatment! I put it on before bed every night, and I genuinely missed it while I was away last weekend. I did not miss my nightly sleepy gummy (PRIYANKA15) because they made the trip with me! I sold a few more of my friends on this buttery bralette as we were getting ready for a wedding together—they are the best. And this face/eye cream duo continues to be a hit, sale season or not!

As we make our way into May, I find myself being more thoughtful about what I’m prioritizing and purchasing. In my cart/heart this month are a few niche home goods, accessories, and an at-home workout recommendation that I’m finally taking! Lets get into it:

Hand Soap: In a world of ever-changing “status hand soaps,” I’ve stayed loyal to the OG (Aesop’s duo) for at least half a decade. It’s not for lack of options—I just wasn’t in love with much else I was finding (am I the only one who doesn’t lose their mind for tomato-scented everything??). Every time I’d finish another bottle of Aesop, I’d do a little search, be mostly underwhelmed, and end up right back where I started. But to borrow a term for Love Island, my head’s been turned!!!
