Shit I Bought and Liked: On My Eye in June

From flattering swimwear to a staple blazer that's finally on sale!

You didn’t think I forgot about June’s installment of “On My Eye,” now did you?!

When it came to shopping last month, it felt like I struck out left and right. Almost every single thing I tried was a miss (the list was LONG but it included these pants, which I had very high hopes for—the twill version is one of the biggest workhorses in my closet, but this one had the strangest texture/feel and was nowhere near the Gala pant substitute I was hoping for). The misses were ultimately good news for my credit card, though not quite as fun for me. 

But as they say, every flop era must come to an end! And between whatever’s in the air here in NYC (aside from pollen…) and a bit of birthday month luck, I feel like things may be looking up…?! Regardless, I’ll be trying my luck over the next few weeks with sexy/comfy swim, athleisure for oppressively hot days, a splurgey blazer that is finally on sale (summer sales are the best time to secure your fall/winter staples, people!), and more!
