Shitters! I’m back in your inbox for a second time this week, but I promise it’s for a good reason (NOT Taylor’s engagement, though obviously I have THOUGHTS). There are SO many sales out there for Labor Day Weekend—this is my attempt to make them easier to navigate, and to surface some SIBAL faves + gems that might otherwise get lost in the shuffle! As always, I’ll keep updating this throughout the weekend with any new finds. Shop responsibly (ish 😈)
J.Crew (discount varies)
I’m very into J.Crew’s new releases, but they have a surprisingly good selection of fall staples on sale this weekend too?! IMO it’s worth snagging the cashmere wrap before it goes back to full price—use it as a shawl with dresses, a scarf with your wool coats, a cozy blanket on long flights—it’s a workhorse, and a really good gift. I also love these blue on blue cotton PJs, and of course these SIBAL favorite cashmere socks (I wear the black ones with boots all fall/winter). On the men’s side, I’m into this simple vintage wash henley. And not J.Crew, but Madewell’s offering an extra 40% off of a staple sun hat you’ll have for years.
Brooklinen (25% off)
My apartment is my happy place, and Brooklinen’s sheets and robes are a huge reason why. They’re so cozy and feel nicer to the touch than so much of the super high-end stuff—trust me, I’ve done the legwork to compare! If you need to refresh your bedding (sheets don’t last forever, people!), they’re the first place I look, and their sales let you save considerably. I have so many favorites (I’m literally wearing this robe as we speak), but I recently switched to their percale sheets, and they’re life-changing for hot sleepers. If you’ve spent one too many sleepless nights roasting in your bed, make the swap and never look back! Replacing old towels is next on my list—bath sheet supremacy forever! (That bundle throws in two extra hand towels for $5 less than the sale price of the bath sheets alone?)
Roz Hair (20% off when you buy two or more products)
I like a clean product as much as the next girl, but what I really like is a product that WORKS. Luckily for me, Roz marries clean ingredients and gorgeous branding with a professional-grade product—their shit actually works, and that’s why I keep coming back (that, and their amazing scents, of course!). The shampoo/ conditioner duo is my holy grail (I’ve since converted so many of my friends/family members), but if you read this letter on good hair days, you know that this root lift spray is my secret ingredient for a salon-style blowout at-home. It lets you get that bouncy, lifted look all by yourself—I check a bag when I travel just so I can bring it along! Speaking of travel, their minis are also great (and let you try some of their most popular products before committing to a bigger size!).
Almina Concept (15% off)
I love Almina’s oversized button downs (I have the black in a size small, and this blue is next on my list!), but I also like this wool zip-up as an elevated replacement for a regular sweatshirt to wear with leggings/workout wear come fall. They also make a very convincing/ heavyweight Khaite cardigan dupe for $1600 less… do with that information what you will!!
Jenni Kayne (20% off)
Sales are really the only time I shop JK—they run them somewhat regularly, and given their pricing, the discount becomes substantial. (Sidenote: Amex users can get $50 back on purchases of $250 or more via Amex Offers). They’re known best for their classic knits, but I’ve loved their recent foray into color. The blues especially stand out to me—this cashmere crew and cotton version are my favorites, along with this simple, office-appropriate top in navy. Another something blue: the blue tansy and rose-infused body lotion from their Oak Essentials line. It’s super luxurious in feel and packaging and makes for a great gift under $50!
Material Kitchen (25% off)
My love of Material’s knives is well documented at this point (I can’t believe I spent so many years not knowing what a good, sharp knife really feels like—I swear you will never go back), but the tools in general are where Material shines. Their kitchen shears are LIFE CHANGING, their spatula is the first one I reach for every time the dishwasher’s done, and I use this handy jigger for everything from mixing cocktails to measuring the exact amount of water (2 oz) to whisk my matcha with every morning. I’ve still never attempted to make myself a steak, but having their pretty steak knives does make feel like I’m halfway there!
Crate and Barrel (discount varies)
You might be thinking that this is an extremely random sale to include, but if you’re eyeing investment cookware of any kind (Le Creuset, All Clad, Staub, etc.), now is your best shot to get it at a discount unless you want to wait until the holidays. I used this sale last year to treat myself to a Staub Cocotte, and I’ve loooved it. I have the White Truffle, which is one of the few colors not on sale this time, but I was torn between that and the deep red grenadine, which is. This grill pan is next on my list (can we tell I’m getting ready for that steak?), and not on sale, but I swapped all my plastic tupperware for these glass containers, and they make my fridge look like heaven.
Other Good Sale Finds!
These drape-y fleece sweatpants are the least expensive/most worn pair in my closet—they’re great for lounging or for a sweatpant workout.
Nutrafol is 20% off!!!! Is everyone else’s hair shedding like crazy lately??! If you could use a little assistance up top, Nutrafol is hands down THE best supplement I’ve tried. It works quickly and so much better than the other stuff IMO. They also have a men’s version, AND a postpartum-specific one (every single one of my mom friends complains about what their angel babies did to their hairlines).
These cult-favorite COS tees are 25% off, as are so many other simple pieces. This thin merino v-neck and slim sleeve top are office staples that won’t eat into your non-office clothing budget.
A classic soft black Eberjey robe on sale…?! Promise this is not a drill.
This non-toxic air fryer/toaster oven combo got a markdown—I have the black, and it’s pretty enough to live permanently on my countertop.
Still waiting to get ripped from the creatine, but I’ve been liking this protein powder and it’s 20% off (as are all of their multivitamins).
Not officially marked down, but PRIYANKA15 gets you a discount on Crown Affair’s new Overnight Repair Serum (and everything else!). Their Leave In Conditioner is their hero product, but I was mostly using that at night anyways, so I swapped to this. It’s similarly conditioning, but it also has repair benefits and leaves your hair feeling so soft.
If you’re eyeing anything from brands like Crown Affair, UBeauty, Violet Grey, CurrentBody, DedCool, YSE Beauty, and so many more, you don’t need to wait for a big sale—SIBAL subscribers get exclusive discount codes that work year-round!
Happy shopping, and enjoy the long weekend!!!
