Shitters! If you are in need of some gift inspiration (or just want to do some browsing while the whole internet is on sale—most things in this newsletter are too), you are in luck! What follows are a few ideas big and small for your family, friends, partner, and more. Hopefully some will catch your eye and make you think of someone you love! (P.S. If you’re shopping Black Friday, I’m keeping this letter up to date with my best sale finds!)
First thing’s first—there are things all throughout this newsletter that many men would love (and plenty in this section that I’d be thrilled to receive myself!). You know your people best—shop for them from any section you’d like!
Starting strong with the Hermes ashtray—what guy doesn’t love a nice thing that he’s not allowed to actually use?! On the more practical end, simple leather sneakers (on killer sale) and fresh workout clothes are always a go—my brother swears by this brand. You can also take the opportunity to refresh his wardrobe (I love this cable knit sweater) or treat him to something snuggly.
My favorites on this list are the Sinatra print, the Bottega wallet (a forever classic), and this little cocktail shaker—how fun is that?! Also would die for this stunning cast iron/griddle set—perfect for any home chef.
Too many men have made liking A24 movies their entire personality, but that does make them easier to shop for? Hibiki is not for me, but neither is this gift!
Upgrade their (or your own) nights in! Slip into something cozy, like Leset pointelle (30% off) or these drapey Lake PJs. Light a candle to set the mood (this set lets you try all of Diptyque’s most popular scents). Put your hair up in a clip, throw on the red light mask, pop a sweet treat in the oven (and maybe a microdose gummy? I like the watermelon). If this sounds like their ideal night, you might have some winners on your hands.
For the people who love to pamper themselves, LILIS’s resurfacing body peel is unlike anything I’ve tried (PRIYANKA10 gets you a discount), this luxe peppermint soap brick by Flamingo Estate looks as good as it smells (paired here with their signature candle for under $100), these pebbles leave your bathwater smelling like a spa, and this Roz set includes everything you need to wash and dry. Slide into sheepskin slippers and a soft white robe and call it a night!
This passport cover is one of my favorite things in this entire gift guide and I am really hoping it ends up under my tree! Not so subtle hint #1. Would also lose my mind for the Inside Out Margaux, though I won’t hold my breath for that one.
For your favorite frequent flier, does it get better than an Anthony Bourdain travel guide? This cashmere wrap/blanket and blackout/vibrating eye mask are so much cozier than anything they’d get on a plane, and are just as useful at home. These micellar cleansing pads are also great for anyone on the go, traveling or not. Stash them in your carry on or gym bag for after a workout.
Speaking of bags, duffles and toiletry bags are great gifts, especially if you’re traveling together in the near future. One of the most divine leather ones I’ve ever seen sold out before I could send this newsletter, but you could always sign up for a restock alert for a future gift.
Sunglasses can be hard to give because they’re so specific to your face, but these are one of my favorites and I love the brand. Take them to try on a million pairs and treat them to their favorite! Also, don’t underestimate the gift of a good read! This thriller was one of my favorites this year, and would make any long flight (or lazy afternoon) fly by.
For the opposite of a big night in (minus the silk PJs—they were just too good to leave off the list)! For the bag girl, a few fun options: This is the my most-complimented bag—it’s great for a party or with any otherwise neutral outfit. All the fashion girls are wearing these pochettes (the closest I will get to a Mini Kelly unless another zero magically appears in my bank account). I’m not into the Andiamo clutches (Bottega can do some wrong!), but the green suede original is a showstopper.
You know I had to include jewelry too. This lab grown solitaire necklace is under $500 and simply perfect, Tiger’s Eye is as beautiful as it is witchy, this charm necklace is next on my endless Fewer Finer wishlist, and I will not rest until this vintage Tiny Tank is on my wrist where it belongs!
Less splurge-y, but just as good: Gucci Westman’s instant glow, Glossier’s cozy new perfume (try if you like Le Labo Santal), and Victoria Beckham’s lip stain (better than a gloss if you’re eating/drinking/talking all night, and now 20% off). A Polaroid camera is still one of my all time favorite gift ideas—they’re so much fun!
I am NOT WELL after looking at all these baby clothes. If you have baby fever, please skip this section—I am not responsible for any Fall 2025 new arrivals!!!
So your friend/sibling/cousin, etc. had a baby—now what? Most new parents aren’t splurging on outfits babies will grow out of in weeks, but the way I see it, as a cool aunt/uncle/whatever you are in this baby’s life, you get to drop in on occasion and treat them to the cutest shit ever made. Examples include this snuggly bodysuit, this cable knit jumpsuit, footy pajamas (big slay), and the literal cutest cardigan I have ever seen in my life? I also cannot get enough of this personalized little bathrobe—obsessed.
Soft baby blankets and sweet toys are another easy pick—I like these knit rattles especially if you’re sending love from NYC! Baby’s first ornament is also seasonally appropriate/inexpensive. But my favorite idea on this this list comes via my friend Nikki who just had a baby herself (hi Cleo!). She recommends Lovevery’s Play Kits. They offer a subscription that sends developmentally appropriate toys depending on a child’s age, ranging from newborns all the way to four years old. This is a such a cool idea on it’s own, and perfect if you’re like me and don’t know the first thing about what kids play with (and want to avoid sending a loud/annoying toy that makes their parents hate you for life).
One of my favorite gifting philosophies is upgrading things people already use for better quality ones that they might not buy for themselves. If you need inspiration, the spice drawer and the kitchen sink are easy places to start!
Speaking of the kitchen: 1) Putting a speaker in there will change their life. And 2) I just discovered this contraption that lets you convert your dutch oven into a slow cooker?! How cool is that?
‘Tis also the season for hostess gifts! If you’re going classic, Scribe is fantastic for a nice bottle. Grab one for your hosts, or treat someone special to their wine club—who doesn’t love a recurring gift?! I feel similarly about advent calendars, especially this one by my favorite chocolate company. If you just want something small/fun for friends, this peppermint syrup is perfect for coffee (or espresso martinis?!). And if homemade is more your speed, I love making cookie dough for my hosts to keep in their freezer. Not quite as small, but I also think coffee table (or in this case, bar cart) books are often overlooked!
Other things: My Black Friday budget is spoken for, but this marble catchall is tempting me. This chunky mug would be a cute gift for a girlfriend! I’d treat my sister (or anyone else who’s very stressed) to this weighted blanket. And this wood tray looks just as good serving charcuterie as it does jello shots (this guide has range).
Whew! You made it through this email! Thank you for fighting the chaos in your inbox to get here! If you need to drop a hint or point someone in the right direction, share this newsletter with a friend or family member. Or ask me to! Happy to fwd this their way!
And as always, the best gifts aren’t always the biggest ones. They’re the ones that are specific to your relationship with the person you’re gifting and that make them feel seen, understood, and appreciated. Keep that in mind as you’re shopping (and don’t forget a heartfelt note!), and they’ll be thrilled with whatever you come up with!
Wishing you the happiest holidays!
Priyanka
Hi! It seems like the link to the bag with the bow might be broken, I love it though and wanted to see the details!
